Franca DiCrescenzo

Franca DiCrescenzo’s background in construction and real estate dates back to her childhood. As a result of her father’s contracting company, Franca spent many summers at her family’s business working and learning the many facets of owning and running a business. That period of time turned out to be one of the most precious and valuable, as she learned many of the lessons that later would help her incorporate her own business.

After graduating in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Franca joined the family business full-time. She supervised all administrative processes including payroll, accounts payables and receivables, and job costing, and implemented job safety programs. In addition, she was responsible for the company’s legal mediation and arbitration, managed the real estate that was owned by the company, and assisted in the construction and financing of projects throughout the company’s real estate division.

In 1998 Franca joined Schenectady Economic Development Corporation. As Director of Development, she consulted with start-ups and existing businesses on aspects such as site location, business plan development, financing acquisitions, financial projections, employee turnover and hiring, equipment purchasing and marketing plans. During this same period she earned her MBA from the State University of New York at Albany.

In 2000, Franca became a licensed salesperson with Prudential’s Commercial Division, focusing on Buyer Representation in the Capital District. Over the next two years she assisted new and existing businesses in reaching their real estate objectives and also applied her business expertise to aid investors in their financial objectives.

In May of 2003, Franca decided to become a Licensed Broker in the State of New York. While she initially represented clients on different acquisitions herself, she has since grown and built a staff of capable, competent and caring Licensed Professionals who have expanded Armida Rose Realty’s range of services. These areas of expertise include interior design, marketing, bookkeeping, project management and maintenance.

Currently, Franca spends her time managing and developing the infrastructure for her business, researching and analyzing additional development projects, meeting with people daily to see how to integrate them with different properties and business opportunities that are available.
